Forty Gather at New Member Breakfast at GIE in Orlando

More than 40 current and potential TOCA members met in Orlando in early November at the Green Industry Expo at a new member breakfast sponsored by Dow AgroSciences. More than 15 potential new members heard from Susan Carney of Dow AgroSciences, as she related Dowís commitment to the Green Industry and TOCA. TOCA membership is now beyond 215 members and has grown by a net of 50 in the past two years alone. If you know someone interested in TOCA, please have them call Executive Director Den Gardner at 952/758-6340 or visit the TOCA web site at www.toca.org

New member Lisa Howard chats with two staff members of Lawn and Landscape magazine – Kathy Franzinger, associate editor, center, and Nicole Wisniewski, deputy editor.   These long-time TOCA members commiserate at the TOCA breakfast. From left, Debbie Clayton, board member, Clayton Communications, Jennifer Remsberg, Bayer Environmental Science, and Cindy Code, GIE Media, Inc.

Owen Towne, left, of Phoenix Environmental Care and a TOCA Distinguished Service Award winner, visits with guest Allen James, CEO of RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment).   Laylah VanBibber, left, PBI/Gordon, left, and Suz Trusty, Trusty & Associates, share the secret TOCA hand signals at the breakfast.

Bill Klutho, left, John Deere, and president of the TOCA Board of Directors, and Doug Obermann, PBI/Gordon share a laugh during the breakfast in Orlando.
