Brent is one of those fortunate people who can honestly say he makes his clients' wishes come true.
Before joining Canyon in 2012, Brent spent several years managing national public relations activities for the Make-A-Wish Foundation: the Phoenix-based organization that provides hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions by granting their fondest wishes.
One of the highlights of Brent's efforts there was collaborating on the "My Wish" series that airs annually on ESPN. Designed to fulfill children's sports-related wishes, the series has attracted more than 300 million viewers since its debut in 2006. That was an appropriate success for Brent, who actually began his career as a sports writer and editor before moving into public relations.
Born and raised in Montana, Brent attended the University of Montana, the University of Southern California and Arizona State University, from which he earned a degree in journalism. At Canyon, Brent is mastering another realm of communications opportunities, as he applies his skills and vast experience to help people connect more effectively in business-to-business relationships.
Brent and his wife Peggy have two sons and a daughter, and sports are a big part of their lives. When not playing or watching, Brent also volunteers as a coach for youth baseball teams.
